Welcome to the Green Room. The teaching team this year is Mr Andrew McNeil Monday – Thursday and Mr Paul McGhie on Friday with the support of Ms Danielle Wilson, Ms Jodie Young and Ms Sarah Armstrong who are our Pupil Support Assistants. We are all very much looking forward to working with the children.
It is important to us that your child loves learning and coming to school. Over the year, we will use a creative curriculum which is led by their needs to take the children on their learning adventures. We strive to provide exciting experiences through thought-provoking lessons and a co-operative environment. We will support your child in becoming resilient, independent, and confident. Within the classroom and local community children will be provided with the means to communicate effectively and have their voice heard. We love to take on a challenge in the Red Room and encourage children to use their growth mindset to reach their full potentials. They will experience attainment and achievement through individual target setting. We will experience positive learning opportunities that are relevant, meaningful and enjoyable. We believe mistakes are proof of trying and we encourage this positive thinking in our classroom. Practice makes better!
