5c’s Busy Week

Well done to Valentina who came second in a figure skating competition.

To link in with our Social Studies topic of China, during Outdoor Learning we used logs, sticks, and back to build our own Great Wall of China.

We also used air dry clay to create tea pots and tea cups after learning about the Tea Ceremony and the origins of tea in China.

In Science we have been learning about reversible and irreversible changes. We carried out an experiment to create a chemical reaction which resulted in an irreversible change. We mixed milk with vinegar which caused the milk to curdled. We left the mixture for a few days and it turned the milk solid.

Lastly, Charlotte and Aaron have been working hard in Maths using the Dienes materials to create numbers with tens and units.
