As always 5c have been challenging themselves to achieve their potential. This week we have been coders, chefs and footballers to name but a few!
As it is National Coding Week we practiced drawing and creating algorithms. We created pathways on the playground using chalk and then noted the algorithm. We took it in turns to be blindfolded and follow the instruction of the coder to complete the course. Amaan, Michael and Cahlan proudly display their algorithm.
During P.E. lessons we demonstrated our ball control skills. We did this through moving efficiently within personal and shared space whilst alternating the speed the moved. Â We then took part in a game of Diamond Football which allowed us to showcase the skills learned during the training session.
Lastly this week we donned our chef caps to make the Italian food called Bruschetta. As we have been learning about healthy foods and their benefits, we thought we’d give making some a go! We had already written a recipe for Bruschetta during a writing lesson so we decided to make some as well! We took care when chopping the tomatoes and grilling the Bruschetta with Miss Collins. Aaron commented on how tasty it was! Wonder what will be on the menu next time?
