Persuasive Writing
In Literacy, the class were writing a persuasive letter to Miss Black, convincing her to let them sit beside friends in class. We used a variety of persuasive language and techniques… but were the letters persuasive enough?
All about Scottish Artists
Today, primary 6b used their note taking and skimming skills to investigate and write about Scottish artists. We learnt about John Byrne, Gillian Kyle, Charles Rennie MacKintosh and Steven brown. We are excited to continue learning about these artists and create art in the next couple of weeks.
Chess Champ
A huge congratulations to P6b’s Chess Champion on getting 2nd place in his competition at the weekend. Super proud

Basketball
We are learning skills associated with basketball in P.E.
The class enjoyed dribbling, tackling and playing some matches today.
We are excited for our skills to develop as we continue our block.
Outdoor play
Today, Primary 6b reinforced their learning from in class outside using loose parts. One group created a cafe with a menu which had prices with decimal points! Fab work
Hundreds, tens and units
Today, we recalled our knowledge of rounding and estimating. Using visual aids can always be a useful tool to help us with rounding.
