Goodbye P6… Hello P7👋⭐️

Our year in P6 has come to an end! I would love to take this opportunity to thank the most incredible class for all their hard work, creativity and independence they have shown this year. I couldn’t be more proud of them! I will miss P6b so much and I wish you all the best for P7 and beyond! 🎉🥳⭐️❤️

Make Your Mark – Follow a Recipe🧑‍🍳

For one of P6’s ‘Make Your Mark’ achievements, we followed a recipe to make fruit kebabs in preparation for our Enterprise Day! We learnt all about food hygiene, how to safely cut fruit, and managed to make lots of delicious fruit kebabs to sell tomorrow. 🍓🍎🍉🍌🥝

Make £5 Grow 💵

Primary 6 have been working so hard to finalise their product ideas and designs in preparation for their Enterprise Day tomorrow. We have stalls ranging from Beat the Goalie, Guess How Many Sweets Are In A Jar, Goodie Bags, Face Painting and Guess Ted’s Birthday! We cannot wait to share our learning with the school tomorrow on Sports Day 🏃🏻‍♂️ So proud of everyone for their hard work 🏅

Forest School Fun!

Take a look at the activities P6b got up to during Forest School! We worked in teams to create fantastic Tipi shelters, experimenting new techniques and using trial and error 🙌

Spanish food and fun! 🇪🇸

Thank you so much to Miss Paterson who came in to teach P6b Spanish today! We learnt numbers up to 10, and explored different ways to have conversations with others. We also enjoyed the opportunity of trying new, Spanish foods, too (even if we weren’t too keen on them)! 🍅🍇🌯🥘 A great, enriching experience ❤️

The Swinging Sixties 🎵

P6b had the best time on their school trip to the People’s Palace, learning all about what life was like for people living in Glasgow in the 1960s. We attended workshops on the Steamie, dancing at the Barrowlands, working and living conditions, and what it was like to go on holiday! Such a great day for everyone 🏘️🕺🏻🎵🧼❤️

Forest School – Week 1! 🪢🌳

Today, P6b enjoyed their first forest school session of the year , learning how to tie different knots with Mr Farrell, and have the opportunity to explore our amazing woodland area! We can’t wait for next week❤️🌲

Netball!

Today, we focused on the importance of communication and collaboration in netball, ensuring we stayed alert and shouted each other’s names when passing. This is to make sure you are ready to receive the ball from your team member! 🏀
