This week, the class are preparing a presentation all about life in the Victorian era in groups. The groups need to research different areas of Victorian life and create a presentation with facts and pictures. This is in preparation for presenting them on Friday 📝
Primary 6b received a visit from Greg and Rachel to teach us all about athletics! We participated in hurdles, long jump, javelin and relay races! What a fab taster session 🏃♀️
Primary 6b have started their gymnastics unit in PE. We have been exploring stretches, balances and sequences! In order to do this safely, we need to be trusting of each other, show responsibility, listen to instructions, and try different methods that suit us! Here are some highlights 🤸♂️🧘♀️
For outdoor learning, P6 were challenged to create a Victorian scene. This group decided to make a Victorian Classroom, with a headmaster’s desk and tables! Great collaboration and imagination team 😀
Today we have been experimenting with the properties of light. We have been investigating translucent and opaque materials and shadows.
We have been learning about sound waves and how some animals use echolocation to communicate. This is us using practical experiments to see how sound waves travel through water.
