During Monday P.E. lessons, we are covering Fitness. For our warm up, two fantastic volunteers taught the class, demonstrating stretches so we were ready for the lesson. The class were respectful and responded well to their peers leading the session. Great job P6b๐
P6b took a walk to the Barrhead Foundry to collect library books. These books will be used in class for our ERIC time๐
We loved speaking to the librarians, and discovering the variety of books that are available to us in our local area ๐๐
Well done to the Basketball Team of the Week. This team showed initiative during their games, spreading out on the court for their teammates to pass to them, a strategy that won them 3 goals! Excellent work ๐
Congratulations to this weekโs star writer! The Letter to Mr Silver had persuasive language including rhetorical questions, WOW words and alliteration. Well done ๐
Primary 6b weโre lucky enough to welcome one of our parents into the class to discuss her job as an accountant. She spoke about her job and gave examples of accounting in everyday life. Thanks you๐๐
P6 had the task of creating the tallest, sturdiest tower, only using spaghetti and marshmallows. The class worked in groups and completed a plan, adapting the plan on the way when needed ๐ท
In Art with Mrs McIntyre, the class have been learning about John Byrne. They created their own portraits in the style of Byrne, and will continue this in the upcoming weeks ๐
