It has been a Christmas fun-filled week!  The children have continued to enjoy their book advent calendar and it really has been lovely hearing sharing each other’s favourite stories. We have also been practising our Christmas songs and a video will be uploaded at the beginning of next week onto Google Classroom. The children are very proud of the songs and came up with some little additions which I hope make you smile 🙂

Christmas Party

The highlight of the week was the Christmas party with lots of singing, dancing and party games. The children showed off some fabulous dance moves and then enjoyed a well earned snack and drink afterwards whilst watching the Snowman.

Christmas Craft

This year we made bird feeders as our Christmas craft. There was a lot of lard and bird seed but we finally achieved some beautifully shaped bird feeders which I hope you and the children will enjoy hanging in your garden.

   

   

Christmas Art

We created our own oil pastel Christmas trees. We followed instructions to create the outline of our tree and then created a pattern as our background. We used the oil pastels to add some beautiful colours, don’t they look fantastic?
