Health & Wellbeing

The assembly programme focuses on celebrating pupils’ achievements whether within school or at home.

The lunchtime club and after-school programme is well established and we offer a range of activities for all stages throughout the session, this is supported by our partnerships with Active Schools, Woodfarm Cluster, community coaches and local clubs.

Pupils take part in Food Handling activities each session linked to a variety of Health and Wellbeing or IDL topics.

Outdoor learning activities are planned for physical education and across the curriculum, 2 staff are currently trained in Forest Schools. Pupils all take part in the Daily Mile programme when they walk or jog for a mile or 10 minutes.

We encourage all pupils wear PE kit on the days they have PE. Please see attached timetable to check when your child’s class have PE in the gym hall or MUGA.
