PARENTS’ NIGHT ARRANGEMENTS – Wednesday 28th February 2024

Parents’ Night will take place on Wednesday 28th February 2024 for all classes from Primary 1 to Primary 7. The online booking system will open Wednesday 14th February 2024 @ 11.00am and will close on Friday 23rd February 2024 @ 12pm.

The parents evening appointments are now booked via Parentsportal accounts https://www.eastrenfrewshire.gov.uk/parentsportal , please ensure you have an account for your child. Instructions for Parentsportal are on the school Website. If you do not make your appointment via your account we cannot guarantee a suitable time will be available. If an appointment is required after the closing date, office staff will allocate available slots. As we are using this system for the first time, we ask that you can be patient with the Office Staff.

Appointments will start at 3.20pm and each teacher will have a table and chairs set out in the gym hall in the annexe (P1-4) building where you will meet with them to discuss your child’s progress. Pupils’ work will be set out in the lunch hall, next to the gym hall where the meetings will take place. All parents are welcome to look at their child’s work either before or after your appointment.

The Leadership Team will be available throughout the afternoon/evening if you wish to discuss anything with us.

During Parents’ Night, our pre-loved school uniform rail will also be available for you to make use of.

We look forward to seeing you.

A different start to term!

Although this term is not starting out the way we expected, the children are already doing a great job with their learning!  Almost everyone has been on their Google Classroom and the teachers have been working really hard to plan fun learning experiences for the children to work on at home.  Keep up the good work everyone!

SETTLING IN!!

We are delighted with how well the nursery and school children are settling in now we are back at Thornliebank together.  Our parents and carers should be very proud of the resilience and positivity shown by the children since our return.  It looks like it’s going to be a great year here at Thornliebank!
