Dear Parent/ Carer,
We are very excited to be welcoming your child to our St. Joseph’s family.
A few reminders to support your child starting Primary 1 on Wednesday:
- Please include a morning snack for your child for break time each day.
- Please provide a filled water bottle each day with your child’s name clearly labelled.
- If your child is having a packed lunch then please put their lunch in a lunch box with your child’s name clearly labelled.
- If your child is having a school lunch, this will be ordered in school each morning. A copy of the school menu for each week can be found on our school website.
- There is no need to provide a PE kit for the first week of school. Further details will be sent out by P1 class teachers regarding PE arrangements.
- Please provide a pair of wellington boots (to be kept in school) and an outdoor waterproof suit for Muddy Movers in the next couple of weeks if possible. We have lots of spare suits in school so there is no need to worry if you are unable to provide a suit. Your child will have Muddy Movers once a week and the P1 teachers will let you know what day this is in the coming weeks.
We look forward to welcoming all the children on Wednesday morning. Please come to the infant playground between 9-9:10am.
