House Day – Monday 10th October

To celebrate our house achievements so far this year, we are holding a House Day on Monday 10th October. Pupils should come to school dressed in house colours. Please do not go to any expense to buy new clothes – one item of clothing in the house colour is absolutely fine. Throughout the day, the children will work in their house groups and they will participate in a variety of engaging workshops. Primary 5 pupils will be going outside for 2 of the workshops so please send a waterproof jacket and suitable shoes. No donation is required for the house day. Tune into Twitter for some photos!

Primary 7 Visits

Primary 7 children from St Joseph’s, St Vincent and Holy Name Parish have just received the Sacrament of Confirmation. All three Masses were beautiful; the children were outstanding and should be commended for their behaviour and reverence during the services.

This is the pupil’s final term and it is a very busy one. Below is a list of planned activities. Please complete the attached sheet and return to school as soon as possible. Continue reading Primary 7 Visits

There will be prizes for the winning bonnets in each house for pupils in infant, junior and senior departments.

Fundraising for SCIAF

Friday 4th April will also be a non-uniform day– children should bring in a donation and all money will go to SCIAF.
Thank you for your continued support and generosity.

House System

Congratulations to St Andrew’s! The won house of the week last week.

The whole school took part in the house day. It was a tremendous success! The pupils took part in a number of activities, including name the mascot, design a house scarf, create a motto, house assembly and wide game. Each house took part in the wide game and St Margaret’s were winners. It was wonderful to see the older children working and helping the younger ones.

Well done one and all!
