You may be aware that for a number of years our school has been working in Partnership with the Prince and Princess of Wales Hospice. We are involved each year in a range of fundraising events for the Hospice and indeed, as a result of our donations, we are very proud to say that the Hospice’s Training Room bears our school’s name.
Mr Smith has sent a letter home informing parents about this year’s find raising campaign- Light up a Life.

A huge thank you to everyone who contributed to the two evenings of Look Back in Laughter last week. Thanks also to those who bought tickets and came along to support our charity fundraising.
As a result of all our activities this year, we have raised the magnificent sum of £7,550.56, which is some £800 more than last year’s total and the highest amount raised in Charities Week since 2008. So well done to everyone.
Mr McKenna led parents through a presentation about courses, levels, assessments and NAB schedules. He then went on to offer support and advice on study skills for S3 pupils.

This is to remind parents that the S3 Curricula Evening takes place tonight. It starts at 7:00pm and will last approximately one hour.
