**This session is open to anyone who lives or works in East Renfrewshire. Usually, our Autistic Collective events are safe spaces for parents and carers only….and we will absolutely continue to do that,  but this webinar will be an opportunity for professionals who support Autistic people and their families to join us, as we all learn together side-by-side**

Over the past couple of years, we feel extremely honoured and blessed to have been able to welcome exceptional Autistic/Neurodivergent guest speakers and trainers to our Autistic Collective spaces.  Following on in that tradition….

We’re delighted to announce International public speaker, researcher and published author Kieran Rose AKA The Autistic Advocate will be joining us via Zoom on Monday 27th March from 7.00 – 9.00pm.

Kieran was diagnosed Autistic in 2003 and is a parent to 3 Autistic children.

Kieran has chapters and mentions in several internationally renowned books and has a book on Autistic Masking and Stigma, co-written with Psychologist Dr Amy Pearson, due to be published with Pavilion Press in 2023.

Kieran guest lectures at Universities across the UK and is a regular guest lecturer in Psychology and Sociology at the University of Sunderland, and to mental health professionals at The Anna Freud Centre for children and families.

Kieran is a co-founder of the networking organisation The Autistic Cooperative which provides professional networks for Autistic professionals. He is also Neurodivergence Educator for the Star Institute for Sensory Processing in the US, and sits on the board of Autistic Parents UK.
