The next ERA Parent Support Group meeting will be held on Monday 26th October 9.30am – 12.30pm at The Museum on Barrhead Main Street.

Kirsty Gilbert from Community Health and Care Partnership will be in attendance to explain the Autism Strategy and host a question and answer session.

A cuppa will also be on offer as always!

For any further information please speak to Donna who will be happy to pass your details on to Clare Moore who is one of our IMFC parents and also Secretary for the group.

BIG SHOUT OUT!

We need your help……

If you can become one of ‘Santa’s Little Helpers’ for the day we would be most grateful

We are hoping parents will come along on

Wednesday 10th December

to help with some special Christmas jobs.

We will provide the mince pies, tea and coffee and you provide a helping hand!

Even if you can only spare half an hour – every little helps

We do not want to take staff away from the learning going on in the playrooms – we need your help!

Speak to Donna or Joanne to add your name to the list of parent helpers.

Coffee and Chat Sessions

Please ensure you come along for our upcoming Coffee and Chat Sessions.

The sessions provide a great opportunity to chat with your child’s key worker, have a look at the learning taking place within the play rooms and catch up on what your child has been doing within the FC.

Next Dates are:

Tuesday 11th November with Miss Erskine for all our Balta and Lamba playroom children
and
Wednesday 12th November with Miss McAnally for all our Texa children.

Rescheduled Parent Committee

Unfortunatley last week’s parent committee meeting had to be rescheduled due to circumstances outwith our control.

The meeting has now been rescheduled. Please come along to our first Parent Committee meeting of the year.

The meeting is open to all parents and carers and we will discuss many aspects of the FC development including fundraising etc.

Committee meetings will be held on Thursday 27th March at 9.15am and again at 1.15pm.

All parent’s and carers are cordially invited to our next coffee and chat session!

This session will be hosted by Miss. McNeill – keyworker of the yellow group on Wednesday moring at 9.15 and again in the afternoon at 1.30pm.

Miss. McNeill will be available to have a chat about ongoing nursery routines, care and learning and any other topic you may wish to discuss.

Our coffee and chat sessions provide an opportunity for parent’s to contribute their ideas, comments and suggestions and we value your input.

I do hope you are able to come along….you will be made most welcome.

We are looking for help with planning Christmas festivities i.e. discussion of gifts, purchase and wrapping!

If you can help, please stop into the office at 9am or 1pm on Wednesday 4th December.
