Cara is our largest and busiest playroom. The Child Development Officers; Debbie Fraser, Julie Farmer Maryanne Brant and Nicola Dunn lead play and learning for the children who attend our Cara playroom.

There is a specialist and individualised approach to planning for the children with complex care and health needs who attend. The CDO’s together with our Pupil Support Assistant Margaret Tummon, ensure a fun, exciting, playful, sensory based curriculum is offered to the children in Cara. Children attending this room are further supported by a range of partner specialists such as physiotherapist, occupational therapists, dietitians, speech and language team and our Educational Psychologist, Jennifer Speck.
