We are celebrating World Book Day throughout this week and have welcomed several of our parents as storytellers!
On Thursday children are invited to dress up as their favourite story book character if they would like to do so.
Miss Thomson has organised a Disney themed day for all the children on 23rd October.
This will be a fun filled day for our children and we will have a range of Disney themed learning experiences available for children to participate in, if they choose to do so.
Please encourage your child to participate by bringing along a Disney soft toy, dressing as a Disney character or bringing along a favourite Disney story book.

Some parents have asked about the previously planned Family Centre end of term trip (as noted on our Annual Dates for your Diary Planner given out in September 2014.)
The trips this year have unfortunately not came into fruition – the planning and costs involved have just been too extensive.
Instead – we have spoken to the children about what they would like and it has now been organised for a special treat to take place this Friday 12th June. Animal Man from Mini Zoo will be coming along to the Family Centre. Check out the website for more information:

Photos to follow!
We will ensure a rigorous hand washing approach, as will Animal Man!
Brian and Morag McCormick from Photo Magic will be visiting Isobel Mair Family Centre on Wednesday 6th May to take photographs of your child(ren).
Photo Magic is a fun, family friendly mobile photographic studio specialising in children’s and families’ portraits. Photo Magic have put together a special package for IMFC which includes a variety of photos at a cost of £27.00. A contribution is also made to the Family Centre Toy Fund.
Parents are under no obligation to purchase the portraits. If you do not wish to make a purchase – just let Donna know.
We ask parents not to remove the photos from the Family Centre until payment has been made.
Please note: it is preferable if the children did not wear white or very pale colours. Stronger colours produce much more vibrant results against the white background used.
