Summer Playscheme at Isobel Mair Family Centre opened today – Thursday 26th June!
Your child may be new, coming to IMFC from another East Renfrewshire nursery or family centre or they may be returning on an extended year placement. No matter what, we hope your child will tell you about all the activities and learning experiences on offer at Isobel Mair.
If not (some children like to keep their time at nursery a bit of a secret!) ask your child about our:
SMART board
outdoor play area
soft play
multi sensory room
story times
painting, gluing and other art experiences
music and singing
community walks
MOD (gym hall)
construction play
jigsaws and games
discovery area
role play
mud kitchen….currently under way!
The list is endless!
Please let us know if there is anything in particular your child would enjoy….we can’t promise, but we will certainly try our best!
Booking forms are now available for the IMFC Summer Playscheme!
The playscheme is open to all children currently attending any East Renfrewshire Council Nursery or Family centre and will run from Thursday 26th June to Friday 8th August (inclusive).
Monday 14th July is a public holiday and the Family Centre will be closed.
Letters and booking forms are available in the foyer or from Donna and Joanne. The closing date for returning forms is Friday 30th May.
We hope your children are enjoying our Easter Playscheme – now almost at the end of day 3 of our playscheme we are glad to report lots of positive verbal feedback from children and parents!

As you know, we will be running a playscheme at Isobel Mair Family Centre during the Easter break for children currently attending any East Renfrewshire Council Nursery. We only have ten full time places and ten afternoon places available which will be allocated on a first come first placed basis.
The playscheme will run from Monday 7th April2014 to Thursday 17th April 2014.
The Family Centre is open between 7.45 and 5.45 and parents may purchase as many sessions as they wish during these times. The cost is £4.60 per hour for early morning, lunch and evening sessions and £11.50 each session for morning or afternoon.
You should supply a packed lunch if your child is spending their lunch hour with us at IMFC.
If you would like to apply for a place on the playscheme please cpomplete and return the booking form which you can find below.
Please note: the closing date of Friday 14th March at 5pm will be strictly adhered to. Also, all hours nbooked will be charged for whether child attends or not.
Usual nursery hours and session places draw to an end for most of our children tomorrow when our doors close early at 1pm

Playscheme opens it’s doors at 7.45 am on Thursday 27th June through until Friday 9th August!

Unfortunately spaces are no longer available for this summer’s playscheme. If you are interested in your child attending our next playscheme (October week holiday) booking forms will be available from mid September.
Today is the closing date for Summer Playscheme requests. If you would like your child to attend the playscheme at IMFC, plese complete and return the appropriate paperwork by 5.30pm.
