Homework

There are many benefits to homework.  Homework allows reinforcement and consolidation of learning undertaken in class. It provides parents and carers with information about progress being made and involves them directly in their child’s learning. Homework trains pupils in planning and organising their work.

These good habits will support them in future education and beyond.

Our policy was derived from a school-wide consultation of pupils, parents and staff. A summary of our parent survey questionnaire can be found here.

USING GOOGLE CLASSROOM

For children learning at home, we use Google Classroom.

Children access Google Classroom using their glow login. If you are downloading the Google Classroom App on a personal device, e.g. a phone or tablet, please ensure that it is linked to your child’s glow account.

If you are having any issues with online access, please don’t hesitate to contact the school at SchoolMail@crookfur.e-renfrew.sch.uk
