Is Parents’ Night stressful for you due to childcare issues? Read on!
Senior students studying Child Care at college will be running a Kids’ Club during each Barrhead High parents’ evening. Children aged 3-8 can attend our new Kids’ Club where they can participate in a number of fun activities – colouring in, play doh, board games, arts and crafts and much more!
Parents will then be free to meet with the teachers of older siblings and focus on the teacher’s comments without having to supervise younger children. Children will be signed in and out and properly supervised for the duration of the evening.
If you require further information about Kids’ Club please contact Miss Hunter and the Youth Achievement Award Team.
The first of this session’s Parent Equalities Forums will take place on Thursday, 17th September at 7pm in Woodfarm HS. All parents are welcome to attend.
The agenda will cover:
1. Update on Education Department Equalities Plan 2015 – 17
This letter gives details of each year groups tracking report, parents evening, full report and award ceremony. There is also information on the dates of the school holidays.
