Learners leading change

All learners have the opportunity to inform change that has a positive impact on their wellbeing and achievements. Learners regularly share their views and ‘you said, we did’ is celebrated at weekly assemblies.

There are many opportunities to lead change across our school community. For example,  leading the Eco and Diversity committees, Pastoral Representatives, Ambassador faculty roles,  Learning and Teaching Ambassadors,  Curriculum, Charities and STEAM Ambassadors

Senior phase learners lead various initiatives  including peer mentoring, extra-curricular clubs, Mentors for the Prevention of Violence and raising attainment in classes. Their aim is to support learners to develop resilience and confidence to lead their own learning and to lead others’ learning.
