SQA Signs in the Community

Our work this week for our SQA signs in the community has been looking and identifying if places are ‘safe’ or ‘unsafe’ to cross the road. We were successful learners and used our gestures to share opinions on places to cross the road.

We all agreed the pelican crossing was a safe place to cross, we waited on the red person turning to green and listened for the beep to tell us it is safe to cross.

SQA Signs in the Community

In our SQA Signs in the Community lesson this week we took part in some role playing.  We were successful learners when we discussed the safe areas we could identify on the road map to cross.  We then acted out what we do when a car was coming, we had fun playing with speedy pull back cars too.

SQA Signs in the Community

In our SQA Signs in the Community unit of work we are learning about how to cross the road safely and signs to help us stay safe.

We have been confident individuals when learning about safe methods to cross the road.  We took part in a class discussion about how we cross the road safely.  We then enjoyed going out a walk and finding safe places to cross and demonstrating understanding of crossing the road safely.

SQA – Signs in the Community

Our class are completing National 1 SQA Signs in the Community, in school we looked at different signs we could see when we are out and about.  We took part in a class discussion about what the different signs mean.

We then all enjoyed going a walk around the local community to search for as many signs as possible.  Once we had found them we were all successful learners in identifying the information that it was telling us.
