We needed to show the finished loaf.
This week we carried out a few different experiments. Float or Sink was one of the questions? We were very confident in most of out predictions!! And then we made telephones out string and plastic cups -no big phone bills for us!!!
This week the Secondary Students started their SQA classes in the afternoon, going to different classrooms, meeting new teachers and students – we all got on great!!! We also made Sensory Weather Bottles – lots of glitter and pom-poms!!! Made Christmas Cards – got to get organised!!! And made Chocolate Crispies in Cookery – melting and mixing…they were yummy!!! And planted some Mustard seeds – hope they grow!!
The Pine Class learned about the Science of bread making, and the Art and we created a beautiful harvest loaf, for the Harvest Assembly… you will need to take our word for it because Mrs Wilson forgot to photograph it before she froze it!!!
The Pine Class are using the inspiration of the season to create some beautiful art work.

Last week in Home Economics we made Roasted Fox…sweet potato wedges!! And also triangle biscuits decorated like Foxes…FANTASTIC!!!
Just a little fun with Slime…some of us loved it and some didn’t!!
The Pine Class were looking for shadows today…but one thing was missing?? The SUN!!! But we still had good fun drawing round each other with the chalk.
