The Moonbeams have had a fantastic week of learning through a variety of themes. Every day they have taken part in a Science experiment related to each of our senses. They enjoyed hearing stories about Leprechaun’s and pots of gold during St Patrick’s Day and today they have celebrated Red Nose Day by making a big Red Nose Meringue and showing it off to their friends in other classes during a virtual celebration this afternoon. The children also donated money for a dress down day.

Holi in the Stars Class

*Successful Learners

We watched a selection of video’s and a powerpoint to tell us about the Hindu festival of colour. We particularly liked the thought of throwing powder paint at each other! We created a cosmic suncatcher using plastic lids, glue and food colouring. Once dried they should look great hung up on our classroom windows.
