Our whole school focus on Scots language culminated with the sharing of poetry during our Scots Language Celebration Assembly. We are super proud of all of our children and young people who shared their learning in class and during the Assembly. They did this with confidence and demonstrated great skill in reciting poetry. As part of our exploration of textiles and technology, P5M have taken a keen interest in how we can link sustainability into all aspects of our lives. For our first task, we took one of our old t-shirts and recycled it by using it create a shopping bag. By making a few simple alterations using a sewing machine, we have repurposed something old into something new and exciting. We will continue with this project before moving on to look at how nature can play a role in enhancing new projects with textiles.
At the end of last session, there were several jackets left in the cloakroom. Please see the photos below to see if one of them belongs to your child. If it does, please call the school and we can arrange to get it returned.
We are excited to welcome back all of our young people and families to this new session. We hope that you have had a lovely summer and are looking forward to getting back to school this week.

We would like to pilot a new Parent Meeting Booking System. This would make organising Parents’ Evenings faster and easier, enabling you to select a specific slot. This would be done through the ConnectUs Parent Meeting Service. We already use ConnectUs as they provide us with our School App.
