Immaculate Heart of Mary Feast Day

Some of our Primary 4 children recently  joined Sr Rose, Sr Mabel and Sr Juliet, to celebrate their feast day.

The children had great fun learning some traditional dances and they were delighted to take part in the offertory procession during the feast day Mass at St. Matthew’s Church.

Well done for your wonderful participation and fantastic dancing!

A big thank you!!

The staff and children would like to say a great big thank you to Beth for all of her hard work during rehearsals. She gave up her own free time to come along and help us choreograph the dances for our show. Take a Bow are very lucky to have such a talented girl on their staff ❤️

Please ensure that the clothes the children are wearing are weather appropriate – sensible shoes and a jacket if needed.

We kindly ask that all children bring in their costumes ASAP as we are hoping to fit in a couple of dress rehearsals next week before our big performances. The chorus for our show are wearing white shirts, grey trousers or a skirt, white socks and black shoes.

We do really appreciate your support with this and without it we would be unable to put on such a spectacular show.

With thanks, always,

MC staff 😊

Next we would like to give a big shout out to Stuart and Graham who travelled quite a distance to collect the stage. And finally, a big thank you to our very own Mr Leslie who spent this afternoon building the stage. It is now ready for the children to rehearse on tomorrow.

Whole school summer trip

As you are all aware this years whole school trip will be to Blair Drummond Safari Park

The cost of this trip per pupil is £15.00 (includes entry and transport)

With only 3 weeks to go till the day of our trip we still have a number of pupils who havent paid for this trip.

We also have a number of pupils who have still to return there permission slip for the trip – despite duplicate forms being issued by the office.

If we do not receive payment (via Parentpay or Paypoint) or the childs permission slip returned to school NO LATER THAN 31st May we will assume that you do not wish your child to attend the trip and they will not be allowed to attend the trip on the day.

If children do not attend the trip they should not attend school that day as there will be no school staff present on this day.

If you require another permission letter, Parentpay letter or Paypoint barcoded letter please contact the school office on 01563 525897.
