ATTENDANCE AT SCHOOL Section 30 of the 1980 Education Act lays a duty on every parent of a child of ‘school age’ to ensure that their child attends school regularly. Attendance must be recorded twice a day, morning and afternoon.

Please aim to have your child at school on time and minimise the attendance of appointments during the school day. If you plan a holiday during the term please contact the school so we can record this absence.

We monitor school attendance closely and will notify you by letter or phone if your child’s attendance/latecoming is causing concern.
