A reminder that tomorrow, (Tuesday 18th November) children in Primary 1 will receive their Bookbug Family Bag and children in Primary 2 and Primary 3 will receive their Read Write Count bags.

We will have a special afternoon of activities on the day.  Children in P1-3 can bring pyjama’s to change into after lunch, they are also welcome to bring a cuddly toy, small blanket or pillow.  The teachers have planned a lovely afternoon for the boys and girls we hope they have a lovely time.

Please do not send children into school in their pyjamas, they should come to school in their uniform and have their pyjamas with them to change into.

Thanks

Pantomime Reminder

A reminder that our outing to the Pantomime is on Tuesday 2nd December.

The buses will be at the school for 9am and all children who are attending the Pantomime MUST be in school for this time as the buses will be unable to wait for any latecomers.  Children can bring a small snack, a bottle of water (not fizzy juice) and they can wear their Christmas jumper with their school uniform. They will be back in time for lunch.

Children who are not attending the Pantomime should not come into school that day as there will be no provision for them.

Catholic Education

From the Feast of St Margaret of Scotland (16th November) to the Feast of St Andrew (30th November) we bring a renewed focus to the importance of Catholic Education.
The theme for this year is ‘Pilgrims of Hope‘.
During this time our Catholic schools and communities are further encouraged to embark on a journey of hope, faith, and transformation through support for one another and spreading kindness.
We ask you all to continue to keep our Catholic Schools and staff in your prayers.

Our school car park is as always out of bounds for parents/carers vehicles . We also have an increase in commercial traffic e.g vans lorries etc  going in and out of the car park daily due to our kitchen renovations having started this week making it particularly hazardous.
