PE & Jewellery

For your child’s safety and the safety of others, pupils must not wear jewellery during PE lessons. This follows East Ayrshire Council’s health and safety policy.

What to avoid on PE days:

Watches
Bracelets
Rings
Necklaces
Earrings or any other piercings
Long acrylic nails

Notes:

Earrings cannot be covered with plasters or tape, and staff cannot remove earrings.
Please leave jewellery at home on days your child has PE.
If your child has newly pierced ears and cannot participate in PE for a time, send a note to the class teacher telling us how long they will be exempt.
Pupils who can’t take part in the physical activities will still be actively involved in the lesson.

Thank you for helping keep our PE lessons safe and inclusive.

Monday 27th April 2026

The class are invited to take part in a Sumdog Time competition which opened today and will run until next Thursday 7th May. The competition will cover all the topics we have covered in class so far including analogue and digital times, hours and minutes and also days, months and years. Good Luck!

We have now began practising for our P3 Christmas Singalong. Our songs this year, which we will sing with the P3 class will be Feliz Navidad and Jingle Bell Rock.
