SHOP WINDOW PROJECT

P4/5 and Mrs Burt organised this year’s community Shop Window Project.

They delivered letters to local shops to ask if they would be willing to take part by displaying our art work for 2 weeks.

A huge  to the following businesses who agreed to take part.

Mauchline Surgery, Thistle & Coo, Blu-Design, Shaw’s Eyecare, Impressions, GetItFitted carpets, Co-op, D.W. Shaw, Wee Chippy, Corner Barber, Well Chemist, Cob Coffee Shop.

The children were delighted to see their art work on display.

Community Garden

P4 and P2/3 went down to the Community Garden to start planting up our  beds.

We planted beans, potatoes, cucumber, lettuce and sunflower seeds. We also decorated around the beds using chalk to draw flowers, fruit and insects.

Our strawberry plants from last year are looking good too.

Fingers crossed for lots of strawbs!

Dress like your favourite wintry character – Olaf, Elsa,

the Snow Queen, Jack Frost etc.

Dress in COOL colours such as WHITE, BLUE, SILVER, PURPLE, GREEN etc.

Make sure that Santa comes to your house on Christmas Eve!

Primary 4 will be selling Magical Reindeer Dust in the Infant Play Area every day at 1pm. Each bag costs 50p.
