The hard work of the staff, pupils and wider community of Drongan PS & ECC has paid off! Today we were awarded our East Ayrshire’s Inclusive Practice (DFS) Gold Award! It is great that we have been recognised for the journey we have been on and all of the amazing learning and teaching that goes on in our school!

“East Ayrshire’s Dyslexia Friendly School Accreditation Pathway has been rebranded as “East Ayrshire’s Inclusive Practice (DFS) Accreditation Pathway”. To support this rebranding we are looking to schools to help us create a brand new logo to reflect the new name and the broader theme of inclusion met through dyslexia friendly and inclusive practices.”

All of the hard work of our staff, pupils and DFS Committee has paid off, as yesterday we were awarded our EA Inclusive Practice (DFS) Silver Award. We are extremely proud of our school and what we are achieving! Next up, GOLD!

Dyslexia Friendly Schools Committee
All classes are now equipped with learning boxes to help pupils with their learning journey. Committee members visited the classes to explain to children how the contents of the boxes could be used and to tell the children about the DFS competitions for P1-3 and P4-7.
