All the Fun of the Fayre

A huge thank you to everyone who attended our Christmas Fayre on Tuesday 5th December.  With the support and generosity of you and the community we raised over £2400 for the school fund on the night. This total will increase with he work that is going on in the school. It is always a pleasure to see the school so busy and was also lovely to see so many former pupils who came along to support the event.

Thank you to Mr McFadzean and Mrs Tait for all the hard work involved in making this event such a success.

Anti-Bullying Week 2023: Make A Noise About Bullying

In school this month, we will be talking about the different kinds of bullying, how bullying makes people feel and what you can do to help if you see someone being bullied.

Please talk about bullying at home with your children and have a look on the website below for activities and ideas to try at home.

Guinea Pig Handling Consent Form

We are very excited to be welcoming our new guinea pigs to the school this week.  Our children have been working hard to create the perfect new home for them.

All children will be given the opportunity to come and see the guinea pigs and handling will be introduced very slowly to ensure both the children and guinea pigs feel comfortable and safe.

Please complete the form below to let us know whether you give consent for your child/children to handle the guinea pigs.

Parents’ Evening / Book Fair

Help us earn free books for school!

We are looking forward to welcoming you into the school for Parents’ Evening this week on Thursday 12th October 2023. You should have already received your appointment time, so if you are unaware of your time slot(s), please contact the main office.

This week we have the Scholastic Book Fair in school. Children are getting the chance to visit the Book Fair today and write down the name of a book they like. The starting price for books this year is £2. There is also a small amount of stationery on offer once again, with prices ranging from 40p to £4.

If you would like your child to purchase a book/stationery in school, they can do this between Tuesday and Friday of this week. The Book Fair will also be on display in the main hall during Parents’ Evening, so you will be able to purchase a book for your child at this point also.

Thank you.
