Tomorrow (19th March) we will be taking part in Red Nose Day activities to support Comic Relief. All of our children will get the chance to take part in different activities in school, which will raise awareness of the work the charity does to support people in need.
Children are encouraged to take part in a Dress Down Day, where they can:
- celebrate being a hero (dress up as their favourite character who is a hero to them)
- dress up a bit silly (think odd socks & shoes, different coloured clothes or a funny hairstyle), or
- just come to school in casual clothes
We are asking for a donation to be made (suggested £1), which will be given to Comic Relief. This can either be made through Parent Pay or paid in cash on Friday.
“Funny is Power. Funny can change things. It can connect us. It can be the difference.”
As it is Comic Relief, we would love it if the children prepared a joke that they could share with their class and teachers. We will be sharing pictures from the day on twitter.
Thank you in advance for your support.
