A-MAZE-ing fun for Maths Week!⬅️

Carrying on with Maths Week Scotland fun, P4-7 took part in an outdoor blind maze challenge.😃 They first worked in groups to design and build their maze using natural materials and toys from outside; they had lots of fun and got very creative – dead ends and trap doors!😅 Each team were then given a blind fold and were given the challenge of directing their blind friend through the maze using position and directional language. We quickly learned that knowing your lefts and rights was a super important skill!

We had a lot of laughs, a few crashes and more importantly lots of fun while learning the importance of maths in the real world! ↔️↖️↙️↪️
