We have been desperate to find out what our new topic would be and we found out this week that we will be learning about Alloa. However, we are going to put a bit of a different spin on the topic and turn ourselves into local travel agents who are trying to encourage people to visit and stay in Alloa. Watch this space for information about our companies as they develop.

We have been learning about measure in Maths and this week we investigated how to calculate Area. If you see us busy with rulers or metre sticks then you will know what we are up to.

We started a new novel this week, The Wild Robot by Peter Brown. We are going to use this as a stimulus for lots of Literacy tasks and we are already really keen to find out what happens next. We were able to make links between this book and others that we know of/have read by comparing the cover, blurb and first couple of chapters.

The ipad has been away getting new software installed so there are no photos this week. We’ll be back to normal next week though!
