A: If staying in school.

A: Circles, areas, piecharts, percentages, fractions.

A: Textbooks.

6) What kinds of skills does this subject help you to develop?

A: Accounting.

7) What is the homework like?

A: Pretty easy – not much.

8) What kinds of tests or assessments do you have?

A: Nabs.

9) What kinds of careers could this subject lead to?

A: Bank / Money.

10) What would you say to someone who is thinking about picking this subject next year?

A: Quite hard if not good at maths.

A: Important subject.

A: Yes – higher.

A: Everything.

A: Percentages.

A: Textbooks and teacher.

A: Practical.

A: Not much.

A: Not much – unit assessments.

A: Accountant.

A: If they want to go to university then take subject.

HIGHER

A: Subject needed for university course.

A: At least C at Nat 5.

3) Will you do this subject next year?

A: No as no advanced higher.

A: Differentiation, vectors, trigonometry.

5) What has been your favourite topic and why?

A: Wave equations and vectors as quite easy to understand.

6) What kinds of learning activities have you done?

A: Textbooks.

A: Maths skills, problem solving.

8) What is the homework like?

A: No marked homework – finishing off class work.

9) What kinds of tests or assessments do you have?

A: Unit assessments – sometimes class tests.

10) What kinds of careers could this subject lead to?

A: Engineering, architect, accountancy, business, maths and building rockets.

11) What would you say to someone who is thinking about picking this subject next year?

A: Be prepared, good grade at N5.  Have a bash at it.
