Kilninver Primary had great fun preparing for and taking part in the Highlands and Islands Music Festival. The Whole School including some of the staff took part in the Instrumental Ensemble, they sang and played Daydream believer .
Pre 5 and P1-3 took part in the Action Song. They dressed up as Little Peter Rabbit and had the audience in stitches with their actions to the chorus……. Powderpuff and curly whiskers.
Some of our older children who are learning to play instruments took part in Instrumental classes on the Saturday, they were very successful and we are all very proud of their achievements. Well Done !
Calum Warnock plays the trumbone he came first in the Brass solo
Kelsey Warnock came second in the Woodwind Solo. She played Charanooga Choo Choo on her clarinet
Neve Davis and Georgie Anderson came third in their brass duet. They have been learning to play the euphonium for 6 months so they did very well to be able to play 2 tunes at the same time, This Old Man will never sound the same again.
