A packed village hall last Thursday evening enjoyed a wonderful performance of ‘Cinders’ by Strath of Appin Primary School pupils and nursery children. In just over two weeks the pupils pulled out all the stops to learn their lines, song words and dance routines which got everyone in the Festival mood.
The many highlights of the evening included comic moments by the two ugly sisters, a Strictly Glitter Ball packed with energetic and creative dance routines judged by the usual suspects Darcey, Shirley and Craig and a race round the hall by Cinders and Buttons in order that they leave the ball by midnight and get home safe and sound. This was a great team effort with pupils working on scenery, being given responsibility for the stage lighting and sorting and making costumes. Well done one and all!
