Dunoon Primary hosted a spectacular Commonwealth Grand Concert on Tuesday 24th June. The Concert began with a parade of all the countries and the choir then sang ‘Heres to our Commonwealth’. P1 – P7 then followed with a selection of songs relating to their chosen Commonwealth Country.

P2 Tanzania ‘ Light the Flame’
P3 Trindad and Tobago – Tingalayo
P4 Jamaica Dayoo & Come Back Liza
P5 New Zealand – Haka
P6/5 India – Dupika dance sur le med tumhara
P7/6 Australia – Aborigine Dance
P7 Samba Drumming

Both afternoon and evening performances were packed with family and friends. The children were absolutely superb as they sang, danced and played their instruments. What a wonderful show of talent! The Concert ended with everyone cheering on the Commonwealth Games………. COME ON GLASGOW!!
