Pupils at Strachur Primary invited parents, carers and other family members into school on Friday of last week to share what we had been learning about Anti-Bullying. Visitors popped into classes to see our hard work, were asked to give their view on ‘bullying’ and asked how they feel staff at Strachur Primary should respond to it. This information will contribute towards the creation of a new Anti-Bullying Policy for Strachur Primary.

The High Points of Strone’s Health Week.
Last Week Strone Primary School held it’s annual Health Week. Amongst the activities on Monday was a “Ready, Steady Soup Challenge” where children had a morning to come up with a recipe, as well as prepare, cook and advertise their soup in time for a full school lunch to which family and friends were invited. A big thank-you to Morrisons and CO-OP in Dunoon, and the Walled Garden at Ardentinny for generous donations of fresh ingredients.
