What’s going on in Primary 6 this week?

Primary 6 have been very busy in our first week back at school.

We have been finishing our newspaper reports about the Titanic.  We realised that we were writing them on the 101st anniversary of the Titanic sinking.  We are going to make them look old by using coffee and tea to stain the paper.

In maths some people were learning about improper and mixed fractions.  We like it because we do lots of different activites to help us learn.

We had an eco challenge to find out which are the tastiest apples and pears and which ones grow in Scotland.  We tasted a range of varieties and collected data about our classes favourites.  We presented our data on a graph using apple and pear designs.

P6 and P7  went down to Uphall Station Park to give it a spring clean from litter.  We think we did a great job!

Have a nice weekend!

  1. You have had a very busy start to the term and have worked hard P6 – well done! I hope our orchard provides us with some delicious apples and pears to taste in years to come!
