Primary 6

As part of our Roots of Empathy work, Primary 6 have been learning about how to keep a baby safe at home.

Here are some of the rules we learned for keeping babies safe as they become more mobile.

1. Always supervise your baby.
2. Keep babies away from the oven.
3. Keep sharp objects out of reach.
4. Never leave a charger plugged in around a baby.
5. Always keep babies away from fireplaces.
6. Always keep bleach and other cleaning products locked away from babies.
7. Never leave a baby alone in the bath.
8. Always cover up sockets.
9. Always use stair gates.
10. Always check the floor for choking hazards.

We are looking forward to our visit from Baby Alfie on Thursday to find out more about his progress.
