Primary 4

This week Primary 4 really enjoyed learning about life in Uganda at assembly from our special visitors, Mr and Mrs Comrie. We learnt that people in Uganda need mosquito needs to keep them safe from Malaria and we were surprised to hear that many of the things we take for granted here, like pencils, are difficult for schools over there to get.

In Maths this week we have been learning about fractions. We know that 1/2 is the same as 2/4 and we can use our division skills to help us find a 1/3 and 1/5 of a number.

We have also been learning about alliteration. We identified the use of alliteration in poems and then used this knowledge to write our own.  We will post some examples of our alliterative poems soon!
