P3 Blog: Why do babies cry?

P3 enjoyed another visit from baby Belle today. Here is a summary of today’s Roots of Empathy session:

“Today we were learning about how babies communicate.” (Dylan)

“Belle was crying to show us how she was feeling.” (Eve)

“We could tell Belle didn’t like lying on her belly because she made a squeaking noise and started to squirm.” (Kayden)

“Sometimes when babies cry, you can sing to them to settle them. Belle liked it when we sang to her.” (Lewis)

“When it was time for Belle to go, I don’t think she wanted to leave because she liked our songs so much!” (Brooke)
