  • Breich – Red
  • Calder – Blue

There will be an area on the field designated for families to spectate the events and we would request that parents/ carers please stay in this area. Dogs are not permitted at Sports Day. Please note, due to health and safety, there will be no access to the school for spectators. Due to photograph restrictions, we ask that you only take photographs of your own child/ children and ensure that no photos or videos of other children are taken, or posted on social media.

At the end of Sports Day, can we please request that all parents/ carers stay on the field until all the children have safely returned to the school building. Then we will open the playground and parents/ carers can collect their child from outside their classroom door.

Should we have to cancel due to the weather, we will Groupcall you by 11.00am on that day.

Calder Neon House Party

Calder selected a Neon Party for receiving the most house points in term 3. Andrew and Charlie created a fun morning of musical bumps, greatest dancer and glow corners. Everyone also had fun dancing with their glow sticks. Thank you to all the P7s in Calder who helped to lead the party.

Congratulations Calder!

P7 Transition

It’s that time of year when our P7 children find out their high school destinations and hopefully you have received or will be receiving your letter shortly.

This term our Primary 7 children are taking part in an interdisciplinary learning project that will support them with transition to high school. This project will include five workshop visits to Broxburn Academy on Fridays which all pupils will attend (regardless of their destination high school). The dates and information about the sessions are included in the attached letter below.

A bus will collect the children from PUSCPS at 9am and they will return in time for the end of the school day, at 12:25pm. An EE2 form will be sent home, please complete by Wednesday 1st May.

Children who are not attending our catchment school of Broxburn Academy will receive a letter from their school notifying of their transition days or please contact their school office for further information.

We look forward to celebrating!

Tempest Group Photos – P1, P7 and Basketball Team

On Wednesday 1st May we will have group photos for P1, P7 and our basketball team taken by Tempest Photography.

Primary 1 children should wear their school uniform as usual on that day.

Primary 7 children should wear their school tie and a shirt, if your child needs to borrow a shirt from the office can you please let the office staff know in advance. We would request that the P7 children also bring along their leavers’ hoodie so that we can get a group photo of them. They can also wear their hoodie to their trip later that afternoon.

Any child who has played in our basketball team will also have a photo. We have school shorts and a team t shirt for these children to wear for the photo.
