On Friday we had the election and it was very competitive as the presentations were excellent. It was obvious that all the children but a lot of time, effort and thought into what they wanted to say.
A huge well done to everyone who took part!

Today Primary 7 were set the challenge of creating a poster to demonstrate how to safely use the pump track.
First of all they used Kahoot to assess their knowledge of bicycle safety.
We discussed what a pump track was and it is different from other bicycle tracks. Then we watched a YouTube video which gave us some tips on how to use it safely and made notes. We also discussed what advice we could give to younger children in our school about the pump track.
They then used their notes to create a pump track safety poster for the children in our school.
Watch this space for their final posters!
We are keen for our pupils to have opportunities to learn about a variety of skills and knowledge that may help encourage and inspire them to consider different options in the future.
During the year there are opportunities for class learning to link with occupations and skills for work. We would like to build a bank of volunteers to approach during the year to come in to talk to the children.
This could be class, group chats or running a workshop, whatever you feel comfortable with. If you would like to volunteer to talk about your job or skills please fill in the form below.
This can be shared with parents, carers and members of the community.
It has been brought to our attention by a member of our Parent Partners that our school has an Easy Fundraising Account.
Easyfundraising turns your everyday online shopping into free donations for your favourite cause. How? Just start your online shopping first at easyfundraising, then shop as normal. Our retailers will then make a small donation to say “thank you”.
They have 3,771 retailers to choose from and so far we’ve raised over £28 million for thousands of community groups, schools, sports clubs, small and large charities across the UK. Easy!
The link for our school is:
https://www.easyfundraising.org.uk/causes/puscps/?q=pumph&cat=cause-autosuggest
You use this to create an account. Then every time you shop, if you log in through this website first the school receives a donation to our school funds without any cost to you.
We would appreciate it if as many families and friends could sign up to support us.
