Primary 6 First Aid Training

Primary 6 had a fantastic time learning First Aid last week! Our instructor, Stefan, taught us what to do to assist a casualty, including how to put them into a recovery position and to perform CPR. We also learned how to apply bandages for different wounds and what to do if someone was choking. Everyone did a great job when practising these skills on the dummies and on each other!

This week in writing, we have been using what we learned to write instructions on how to approach and help a casualty.

Almond Pyjama Party – Wednesday!

Almond will have a Pyjama Party on Wednesday 26th June at 11am for winning the house points this term.

As we have the P7 Celebration Assembly in the morning children should BRING their PJs or party clothes to change into for the party.

Sorry for the short notice about the party but we wanted the children to enjoy their treat before the end of term.

P6 Transition Challenge

Primary 6 were given the task of creating a presentation to give next year’s class an idea of what being a Primary 6 at PUSCPS is like. We decided to create a Power Point presentation and worked together to make slides about different aspects of Primary 6. Once complete, we combined the slides into one presentation and presented this to the current Primary 5 class. You can view our presentation here:
