Tempest Family Photos Re-Scheduled
The family photos that were scheduled for Friday 2nd March have now been rescheduled to Friday 23rd March. Your previous time will remain the same. If you would like to be added to the list please contact Mrs Thom.
This will be a dress down day to raise funds for Magale, it will therefore be your decision if children come to school in their uniform and then change into causal clothes, or you might decide to have their photo in casual clothes.

January Newsletter
Dear Parent/Carer,
Welcome to our January newsletter. It has been a busy start to our new year with our inspection celebrations and learning about Burns through our Scots week focus. Although we have been very busy, we managed some time to play in the snow!
Mrs Cullum has left us for now to have her baby and we look forward to welcoming her back to visit us. Mrs McLuckie and Mrs McConville will share the Primary 3 class and Mrs Andison has sole responsibility for teaching Primary 5.
Safer Internet Day is on 6th February and all classes are focussing on this event as part of our health and wellbeing programme. Look out for our learning on the blog and websites to support you with internet safety at home.

Inspection Celebration Assembly
This morning we welcomed children, staff, parents and carers, and friends of PUSCPS to join us to celebrate our recent inspection findings. It was lovely to welcome back Mr Eagleson for the occasion.
Our house and vice captains led the assembly and we joined together to sing some of our favourite songs:
- Our School Song
- You are a Star
- and a new song that we have been learning Glorious
They also shared with us our school and nursery gradings.
Miss Burton shared a few words about our school and Mrs Dickie shared a few words about our nursery. We also watched some videos that we made this week which share why we are so proud of our school.

We even had a special school cake – which we really enjoyed eating (shhhh … don’t tell our parents/ carers!).
Thank you to everyone who came along to join our celebration.
Inspection Report

This is a huge success for our whole school community and recognition of the hard work that goes on at PUSCPS. It is also a tribute to Mr Eagleson in his leadership of the school.
We look forward to inviting you along to our assembly at 9:15am on Friday to celebrate this success.
Kind regards,
Miss Burton
