We will be watching this video in nursery with the children next week.  Although it is aimed at ages 5-7, some nursery children are accessing online games and they often talk about content they see on Youtube.

They key message is to “ask an adult before watching videos on youtube”.

Celebrating Burns Day

On Burns day ‘Granny Janet’ (Erin’s Gran ) visited nursery to share some fantastic Scottish stories, songs and poems with the children and staff. The children loved getting involved with the new songs and poems and were very eager to listen to the tales such as Greyfriars Bobby. At the end of the sessions Mrs Mckay  had very kindly cooked us all a Burns supper of ‘Haggis, Neeps and tatties’ It was a great!

Children’s usage of the Ipads are limited and managed with a rota system and sand timers.   Please speak to Miss Wilkinson if you would like to know more about this and for tips on online safety.

Lost belongings.

Please can you check at home for a lost fleece jacket and pair of shoes?

The blue fleece has the name Aiden R on the label and the shoes are red Spiderman indoor shoes.
