”Switch of Day ”

Energy is one of  our Eco topics. Together with the children, we looked at how small things can make a big difference every day to save energy throughout in our nursery building.
Today we had an amazing day in our center, we turned off the lights for one hour and lit candles in the whole building to save energy.
We have been discussing  with children about heath and safety rules after lighting  the candles in the nursery.
Please see  children’s comments and the photos from our  event ” Switch of day”.

"I like this black candle. The lights turned off to save energy"

"I also turn off the light at home".
"I like this big one".
"Very pretty."
"We can not touch them."
"Only teaches can touch candles"
"We can look at them, and I blow out the candles
''I turn off the lights in my house. ''
" I turn off the TV in my home. "
'' Save energy."
